Active Carts

I was wondering if the active carts have a shelf line as I've noticed over the last week that the number is slowly dwindling.

I think people are spending more time at the beach and outdoors instead of playing with Lego at the moment.

They do, if you hover over the active carts, there is a tooltip explaining them

The 7 day thing new? We went from about 25 carts and now have 13.

I believe it's been in place for over a year, the active carts metric isn't very insightful, so I wouldn't pay much attention to it

Is it possible the count of active carts used to be for the past 30 days?

A long time ago, I remember seeing cart counts over 100...

Does it include ALL the carts, including the ones that turned into orders?

A cart that turns into an order becomes an empty cart ;-)
So a logical 'no'.

Nowhere in the explanation text it says anything about "empty carts". It says "how many customers have started to put items...." and nothing else to that regard.

Wording is not ambiguous and is not calling for anything logical(?) to be assumed, such as that the count only includes the carts that were not checked/emptied-out, i.e. "pending" carts only.

Wouldn't then interpreting it directly be the logical thing to do?
