Coupon notifications

Evening all.

I offer discount for returning buyers, so i issue a coupon after dispatch, ready for the next order. Does anyone know how my buyers are notified regarding the coupon? as some of my returning buyers do not use their coupon.

Is there a way to send a reminder out to my buyers to use their coupons?

If you create a user specific coupon, they are e-mailed about this at the time, and the coupon is shown to them when they are checking out in your store
