I would normally respond to a quote within 12 hours.
I assume you requested a quote from a store and the store hasn't send you one?
It must be said that many shopowners here sell as a hobby, so they might be out of town for the weekend. Other sellers are 'professionel' stores but only work on weekdays, so if you requested a quote from such store they might be handling it tomorrow...
Bottomline, no seller is (or can be) 24/7 around, we all have a personal life, some of us have dayjobs, and we do take short breaks once in a while (longer breaks would require a store closure) ;-)
If a store doesn't contact you back within 4 or 5 days (particulary if it includes a weekend), then just move on.
Personally I hardly give quotes anymore, my whole store is nicely setup for autocheckout (except larger sets) :-)
