Instructions set 8270-1

I had a customer that made a remark upon receiving his 8270-1 instructions. And after doing some research, I am now confused

I was in the understanding that there should be 2 booklets. The BO inventory says it should be 4, and "other" sites say it is possible the instructions contain 3 booklets.

So, what is it? 2, 3 or 4 booklets?

There are just 2 booklets, but they can be 2 US versions or 2 international.
