Different valves in Mercedes 42043?

Does somebody know what the difference is between valve http://www.brickowl.com/catalog/lego-dark-stone-gray-pneumatic-two-way-valve-with-pinholes-and-stepped-ports and http://www.brickowl.com/catalog/lego-dark-stone-gray-pneumatic-two-way-valve-with-pinholes-47223?

These items appear in the Mercedes 42043, I think they are exactly the same. Hope someone knows in what way both items differ.

    As far as i know the one with the stepped ports was introduced with 42043 and it was meant as an improvement to the pneumatic system where it's easier to attach/detach the hoses.
