Coupons - couple of questions

Pardon if these questions have been answered already:
1. Is it possible to add an expiry date on a coupon?
2. Is there any way of offering all previous cutomers in my shop a coupon, all at once? (Like "as a former customer of BricksNorway, I want to offer you a discount of 15% on all purchases made before FEbruary 15th")

2. I wish there was a feature like that. I have a loyalty program which means I have to create a coupon for every user. The more times they buy the larger the coupon. Yes, others in forums around have said I could use a coupon code and give them that code. It is faster and easier for me. On the other hand, I want them to know I specifically have given them a coupon and see they have one available. Not to make someone keep a code lying around.
