First - if this question is in some way inappropriate, I apologize in advance.

Is there a reason the "codes" that BL uses for a minifig is not included in the description on BO?
Clearly, the info is somewhere, since bricksync is able to convert them, but they are not searchable terms, nor are they displayed? (I assume I'm not the only one that stores is figures alphanumerically based on BL's catalog?)

BL prohibits the usage of their precious intectual property, that includes the BLIDs, and once threatened BO with legal action if they were displayed anywhere.

If you want to convert a BLID to BOID, you can use the owlqueryblid command.

Mark, if you sync, put the BLID in your private note (remarks here), that's what I did :P
and I do the same for torsos, heads and many decorated items. I had to choose a certain way to be able to find things more easely when getting orders on BO, so it made sense to me (as I use the master command) to make them 'recognisable' within my storage and on my pickinglists.
