Looking for part from model 8856

I am searching for a specific lego part which I cannot find on the website. It comes from model number 8856 and here's a picture of the part (the one at the tip of the pencil).

Could somebody please help me in finding this part?

Yeah but they were last available 16 years ago, and weren't exactly common back then either. Maybe you could substitute with another hose? The part I linked isn't necessarily the right one either, it's listed as 4L rather than 4cm so it might be this part you're looking for which is actually priced a bit better:

Again, if it were me I'd ask them for photos and probably ask them to measure as well!

Yes, the connecter you're linking up is made to work with the flexcables (those exist in several lenghts), 2 other connectors as well:

Some flexcables are quite expensive, as when 'broken' they can't be repaired/used, and they are no longer in production, demand is high, low quantities available, so prices are rising on those and will keep rising ;-)

oh, and btw
4cm = 5L (stud measurement)
3.2 cm = 4L (stud measurement)
