Edit catalog part size in "mm"

Just a friendly reminder that "mm" is millimeter and it is the small lines on the centimeter side of a ruler.

No finger pointing, accidents happen but I have been working on updating the catalog with what we have in our inventory. I have seen a few that seem to have been measured with small lines on the inches side.

Or maybe they were imported incorrectly? I know admin has to verify the info being submitted?

Any who, thank you and have a great night!
Chris

  • I might have figured it out:

These parts have stud dimensions inserted. I believe when it comes to DUPLO parts it is calculating the part as a regular stud and not the duplo size stud??

    Example:
    LEGO Red Door Frame 2 x 4 x 5 (92094)

    Stud size is 2 x 4 x 5
    Size in mm: 16 x 32 x 50

    actual mm size should be: 31 x 63 x 101

    Thoughts?
  • If the system doesnt know a duplo part is a duplo part then it will guess the dimensions incorrectly

the part in question was a known "part / Duplo" for category. Maybe the category was set after the dimensions were given?
