Order placed, no payment received

I have received an order (Order #2037749) about 6 hours ago, it is marked as paid but I have not received anything on my Paypal account. From my past experiences I was credited almost immediately after the order was placed.

Any idea what happened there?

  • With PayPal standard as opposed to the PayPal business, the customer can place the order and then when it gets to the PayPal bit, just not pay and close the tab. The order must be created before payment is requested because of the way PayPal standard works, it does not have an API for us to communicate with.

    The order is marked as payment submitted which means the customer has marked it as that, it is not marked as payment received which only you can set or the system will set automatically when payment is received via PayPal.

    I suggest you contact the customer and possibly send them a PayPal invoice for the order.
