Store search producing empty page (actually 500 Internal Server Error)

This search currently produces an empty page in Firefox or Chrome, logged in or not:
http://brickassortments.brickowl.com/search/store?query=60484

A manual query reveals the reply is actually "500 Internal Server Error", but I have no idea why browsers don't show it as such.

  • It's common practice for a site to not show errors to their visitors
  • Actually I jut tried it in IE and the 500 error is shown in the More information dropdown

Is it? I would rather get information, any information, than a blank page. Though it's generally best with a touch of humor... Such as, for a 500 Internal Error, a photo of a Lego gear train falling apart, with a panicked mechanic minifig holding a wrench?
  • Normally a error page would show, but not if it's a catastrophic PHP error, which it was in this case, caused by my speech recognition inserting a reference, me not noticing, and then synchronising the code a few days later. That's now fixed.
