Download placed order in *.bsx format

Hello,

Apologies if this has been addressed before but I could not find the information. I have been placing orders over the past few months to gather parts to build the GB headquarters designed by the Swiss GB (http://www.swissgb.ch/lego-gb/). Given recent news that Lego may release an official set (http://www.thebrickfan.com/lego-ghostbusters-firehouse-headquarters-75827-rumored-for-january-2016/) :-) I will be left with a considerable amount of parts I would like to sell on my store.

Is there an easy way to download the orders and combine them in BrickStock so that I can upload everything in one go?

Thanks!

  • Using the API it's possible to download your order information of the orders that you have placed, and then use that information to upload it using the inventory API
  • Thank you. Unfortunately I am not API literate. If someone has the time/inclination to provide a list of steps I would have to follow to download specific orders, combine them, edit prices and then upload using the API I would be grateful. If not, no worries.

    Thanks!
  • What you need is converting BrickOwl IDs into BLIDs for BrickSock, and that isn't easy at all. It requires a complete offline database to do the translation.

I shared a little tool that converts a store's inventory (http://www.bricksync.net/owl2bsx/), it could be adapted to also fetch orders. Still, I suspect adding the feature would take me longer than you just merging orders manually. And I don't really want to put time into owl2bsx because there's new and much better software coming down the pipeline... :)
  • Thanks Stragus! Yes, I don't want to waste anyone's time. I will manage manually and will be looking forward to the new software :-)
