Paypal removing tier pricing
Just got a confusing email from Paypal mentioning they were removing the tier pricing starting Oct 1st and at the same time saying that it doesn't apply to me. Anybody got this ?
"In that spirit, we are simplifying the prices we charge for PayPal transactions, but please note that these changes do not apply to you. Effective October 1, 2015, we will remove the tiered merchant rates for US domestic and international Purchase Payments*. The new rate will be the standard rate of 2.9% + $0.30 USD for domestic transactions and 3.9% + fixed fee** for international transactions. Card-processing rates on PayPal Payments Pro and Virtual Terminal are not changing. As noted above, this change does not apply to you. Your rates are reflected in the table further below."

The part that is confusing me is that the mail imply it would not affect me but everything I read seems to imply that this should affect everyone benefiting from Merchant Rate pricing thus the confusion.
