Tax Query

I probably did something stupid, but can't figure out what's going on.

I just created a new item in my inventory with a price of 0.85 euro. I also setup the VAT/TAX settings for europe (we are located in the NL so 21%). When viewing my item in the frontend, it shows a price of: 0.714 (incl tax). The local flag in the right corner is set to Netherlands.

What's going on?

    It looks like that's because you have two tax profile setup with "remove the tax", so the tax profile that does not apply, the DE one, causes the tax to be removed, and the price to be reduced.

    I'm guessing you are registered in two countries for VAT, in that case, you would need to change the tax profiles to be the "add the tax" type, and adjust your prices to be exclusive of VAT. If you are using the API, it should be easy to just adjust the price to remove VAT before it is given to Brick Owl.
