How to Create a Sale in your store

Very simple I know... but not sure if I'm actually doing it correctly. Do you go to "Inventory" and then at the bottom to "Mass Inventory" and then sale?
When I want the sale to be over I reset it back to "0"?
I would think there would be a date I could make it to: then for how long. that alone makes me think I'm doing it wrong.

That all sounds correct to me, there are no start/end dates. You do need to select which items you want to be on sale
