Hello everyone! I joined BrickOwl about a year back, but just now made the decision to begin selling here. We have been selling LEGO online through various places since 2010, and set up at trade shows a few times a year.
I started my business with one goal in mind: to do business just like my Granny did. My grandmother, who passed in 2000, ran several successful businesses throughout her life, from real estate to flea market booths to her most popular business, where she made affordable, beautiful, high quality gravestone decorations. She would drive to several states getting the best quality flowers and supplies she could find, spend hours putting together each unique arrangement, and sell each one for around $5 to $10 profit. Her pieces sold for half what anyone else's did, looked better, and lasted longer. And probably a third of the ones she made, she'd give away for free to families who could not afford to buy anything, because "a person's paycheck shouldn't determine whether or not their loved ones resting places look nice." She was an awesome person, and taught me that the best way to run a business is to treat every customer as what they are: the one reason you have food on your own table.
Now, my wife and I run our own business, and I hope I have honored her legacy with how I run things. We treat you how you want to be treated, because you guys are the reason we get to have the coolest job in the world. The look on kids' faces when they walk by our booth--when their eyes light up and they say, "LEGO!"...that is why we do what we do.
So as we expand into a new chapter of our business, I'm offering 30% off of everything in our store. We have around 75,000 items right now, and we're looking to add around 10,000 more that are still in my suitcase waiting to be unpacked from our recent Brickworld Chicago trip.
Want to save even more? Use coupon code "welcome" to save an extra 10% off our entire store. We are very excited to serve our newest BrickOwl customers, and we welcome you to ask any questions you might have!

I have noticed that 20 different people have "active carts" in my store. That is a very nifty feature, but I find myself staring at it, saying "Come on, come on, buy!"
Looking through some of your old posts I saw that you mentioned wanting multiple logins for the same store (so people working for me can update inventory but wouldn't have the right to block users, change shipping methods, and so on). Was this ever implemented? If not, is it still on the table? It seems like a feature that would be very useful. As a network security specialist by trade I feel you can never be too secure, so I'd love to see a two factor authentication option as well.
So far I'm at 7 orders in about 4 days, and finally hit 83,000. I'm definitely liking what BrickOwl has to offer.
