I have just noticed tax have been collected wrongly for couple orders from France which happen to have the same Zip code range as the one I am using in the US.
I can't find any obvious issue in my settings.

In the tax profile settings page, do you have only the USA checked to collect taxes from?

As far as I can tell the only country selected is USA.
