Sales Summary

I would like to see a more detailed sales summary rather than just the 30 days on the dashboard at the moment. I filter sales on a calendar month basis. Would it be possible to create a sales page with more information, i.e selecting previous months total sales?

In the interim, would an order download suffice so you can filter it how you want in something like Excel?
