I have had this more than once:-
customer selects money order because they don't have a paypal account, then discover it's not so easy to get an MO. Then figure out a PayPal account (or CC thru PP) is no problem. Now want to pay with PP.
The only solution I have is send my PP EM address via messages, which, as the system strips EM address I have to alter it, which causes some confusion. Obviously this isn't a problem for
@Admin (commission still gets logged) But it would be much easier if customer could go back thru check out and select a different payment method.
Thanks

E-mails are encypted on top, so even if someone would abuse them, the message flow would be brought back through Brickowl and by doing so 'senders' can be blocked by the site in case of need.
That's the secure part of Brickowl, unfortunatly it also blocks real e-mail addresses that are needed to (e.g.) fill in shippinglabels or send straight 'money' requests when a buyer asks to use a different payment method like PP (like the OP stated), but those are rather rare cases, best to simply ask your buyer to spell his e-mail and replace the @ sign by 'at' when sending it, problem solved...
Correct, and most likely it also works for certain shipping labels like the shipping Service Kiala (an example in Belgium), but I prefer not, thank you...
Have you filled in a Belgian CN23 label recently? Try to put on an e-mail address with 46 charaters :P
I have a pretty short e-mail address myself for my store (max. 20 characters) and I can't even get it on the form as there isn't enough space :-D
Then try to write the BO type of e-mail: [email protected] on it
I'm sure that in case of need, the custom department (or postal office) will 'love' to send an e-mail towards that address, I'll bet they wouldn't even be able to re-type it correctly, so hardly any chance it will reach it's destination. Luckely one can simply read the actual e-mail address on PP for that purpose (as most abroad buyers for which a CN23 label is required, do pay with PP) ;-)
By the way, maybe you know, why has Belgium stopped issuing CN22? I had to contact bPost customer support to check and the first 3 people I spoke to didn't even know they'd stopped using it. Only the 4th person confirmed it had been phased out in favour of the green CN23. The CN22 is far easier to deal with and much more appropriate for the vast majority of parcels I send outside the EU. Both UK and Spain are still using CN22.
English-language CN22:

I still use CN22 for smaller shipments, I just print them as Bpost doesn't want to 'give' them anymore :P
They are an international standard, so no reason why you wouldn't be allowed to continue using them ;-)
Printing the CN23 form costs less then making the CN22 sticker for Bpost, and they only need to keep 1 type in stock, so they are just 'saving' bucks on the production and storage surface on it, that's all.
If you like I can mail you the form, 6 on sheet (Stefaan from Elias3 scanned them), I tape them on with some large transparant tape, never a problem.
Eric
Thanks
Or customers asking "So I should send the payment to [email address removed], right?".
In the issues ive had they want to change from money order to PayPal, it would be helpful - rather than the other "work around" methods.
