I have been trying things out as I prepare to open - so far very happy with the usability and "feel" (far superior when compared to "the other place")

Two things
1) The landing/front page (IMO) would benefit from a face lift - the links and info are all good - a more obvious LEGO look would be nice...

2) Are "robots" enabled so as to allow search engine(s) to direct to pages within the site?

    Agreed with the homepage, still not sure what exactly to do with it yet.

    Yes, they can access most parts of the normal site and the non-catalog parts of stores. Once we have more the site indexed I will possibly allow the crawling of the catalogue side of stores. It's disabled at the moment to reduce the chance of duplicate content penalties.

    Maybe feature a picture of an MOC or 2 - selected randomly?

    Or of course advertising, which, if unobtrusive would make you money - to help keep fees low(er) :)

    Seems you have fixed most of the flaws of "the other place",

    Also have you found a way to keep youngsters off, without parental consent?

    I hope to be open fully for biziness in a week or so, still a few more bits to sort out. Graham
