What to do if order is missing and don't hear from seller?

I ordered some stuff about three weeks ago. After about two weeks, I contacted the seller and still haven't heard back, nor seen the order. I do know this whole part of the country is messed up shipping wise because of the bad weather, but I would expect the seller to give me an update. If order no shows and seller continues to not respond to contact, how do I dispute?

  • You can initiate a Paypal dispute. I would also send another message, it's possible the seller might have somehow missed the first one...

    Does the order page show any tracking? Should the shipping method selected provide tracking? (although some sellers omit to enter the tracking number)

    What does the seller's feedback look like? Is it a serious and established seller, or a newcomer with no feedback?
  • They have good feedback, reputable seller. No tracking was provided, just the method of shipment. I have sent a few messages so far, probably 3 now? I hate if something happened to the seller or a family issue/sickness, want to be a patient!
  • So, just learned, and saw, the seller suddenly has a lot of negative feedback and appears to not be responding to people contacting them. Hope they come around.
  • Unfortunately if a seller stops responding to messages the best thing to do is to start initiating a paypal claim.

    I had to start a PayPal dispute since the seller does not respond whatsoever. .
    That store lied to me. They said they shipped my order on Feb 4th.. (I ordered in January) but they actually never shipped it.
  • Darn, some feedback they have received suggests malicious intent rather than an unfortunate event.

    Proceed with the Paypal claims and get your money back. Sorry for that bad experience!

    I have received a response from this seller finally. We agreed on a refund. But haven't received it yet, will give them a day before opening PayPal dispute. I also ordered from them in the past and received my package in like two days....
  • i ordered from them before also, without issues, (except some missing parts).. they promised me a refund, too..but i never received one, that's why I went to PayPal..

    I got one response from them in the beginning where they said that they had messed up orders and shipped to the wrong customers etc.. but like their feedback shows, they haven't sent out any orders at all. then when they offered me a refund i accepted.. after that i did receive a message saying she could pull another order for me since they had a bunch of sets stacked up and that she would update me. never heard back :-( i don't think she could had pulled a order from over 4000+ parts from a few sets they still had laying around somewhere..
  • I also haven't received an order from them I placed on 1/26. They supposedly shipped it and then reshipped it. Don't buy whatever they tell you about delays or promises of refunds. Begin the dispute process with PayPal ASAP.
