Affiliate timeout?

So in the beginning I turned on affiliate linking. However I have had it off for a few weeks now, but I am still getting referrals. I understand the carts may still be active, but does the affiliate link timeout or does it last forever? Just curious. Most online marketplaces only have it last for a few days/week.

    Are you still paying an affiliate fee on those orders? You can check in your account fee history. I remember this question or something similar in the past, I thought the seller saw the icon still, but the fee was not applied after opting out. Could be wrong, but something to check.

    Totally didn't notice that! Thanks! The fee was not charged.
