Looking to build model 8288 but see an error

Hey guys im looking to build the model 8288 from scratch but I see what I believe is an error in the inventory sheet or instruction sheet. If you look on the inventory page (pg 80) the strings you need are (4x 4295420) and (2x 4109618). On page 61 or step 38 it calls for 2x 4109618. Then on page 65 or step 42 it calls for 2x 4109618 again... but according to the inventory sheet there arent any more. Also the only other place I see it call for string is on page 76 or step 49 calling for 2x 4295420, leaving us with an extra 2x 4295420. Are the pictures of the string swapped on the inventory page? I dont have the physical pieces in front of me so I was wondering if anyone here has built it.

it is possible the latter needs to be cut to size (I didn't check) and the remains are used elsewhere in build.

whoops on the last one... I'm new to the site and thought that was a typo and I didnt want a white block coming to my house so I ordered this "LEGO Black String 250cm (Medium Thickness) (14728 / 700072) do you know if it will still work or will it be too thick for the reel and gears?

Looking at the pictures, I doubt it would be 'thin' strings, most likely medium or thick strings
