Hello Brick Owl community! - Let me introduce "A Plane Stargate"
Hello everyone, I just opened a store (A Plane Stargate) a couple of days ago at my son's urging. I have been a buying member for a couple of months. We are both avid Lego builders and have opened a store to sell 18 years of Lego's....1. To fund son's college and 2. To fund my Lego building/collecting habit. I really like this site and I have already contributed to the catalog. I hope to build a successful store, right now I have minifigures and sets (Not all of my inventory is uploaded yet) and I will gradually add my parts (I'm still learning the system, but I have well over 20,000 parts to sort, catalog and list), so if anyone has any great ideas of how I might accomplish this (with as little pain as possible)....I will greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

do not store by colour ( my method when i started - takes for ever to pack orders )
do sort and store by item type alphabetically ( eg plates modified , plates 1x2 , plates 2x2 ...)
break non theme minifigs ( city figs sell quicker broken )
