Prices in search results appear to include european VAT? (from Canada)

When searching for parts through the catalog, I can see different prices in the search results and in a store's inventory itself.

If I pick a store in Belgium (for example), prices in search results seem to be 21% higher than the prices I see in store. That 21% corresponds exactly to the Belgian VAT. Yet, as I'm from Canada, I assume I shouldn't be seeing anywhere prices that include a VAT.

A concrete example, I see Hellmouth's orange 3001 at 0.137 CAD:

while it's at 0.113 CAD in store:

I believe that's a little bug. Thank you!

Hum, it seems that not only search results can inconsistently include the VAT!

Here's a screenshot after requesting a shipping quote, should the two amounts match? :) This is again from a store with a 21% VAT, which doesn't apply for shipping to Canada.

  • I will definitely look into this
  • Prices in the catalogue have now been adjusted to have VAT removed where applicable. The display issue with the shipping price on quotes has been fixed. The actual price paid at checkout was correct, but some of the in between prices shown were incorrect.
  • The displayed prices and shipping rates all look good now, but I think there's a small glitch left for international non-VAT customers. When items are sorted by price in the catalog, the lots from VAT-enabled stores appear in the order they would have occupied if the VAT were included.

    See attached screenshot:

We can see two VAT-enabled stores, and their lots appear sorted exactly as if their prices included VAT.

    Thank you!
