order notification delay

Is anyone experiencing a delay in receiving order notification emails? I received an order a while ago and only realised it because of the email from PayPal aknowledging the payment.

I don't think it is a gmail problem as I am getting other emails.

It came. I was inpatient as it took longer than usual.

No delay here whatsoever. I'm using my own mail server though, services like Gmail sometimes delay emails by a couple minutes.
