received payment for a not placed order

Hi

Today I received a payment for a not placed order. I only received a quote 3 days ago.
It's a French member.
It was a small 4 items quote, 2 is not a problem but the other 2... if someone else will buy them...

Have already contacted him (also in French) but at this moment no reply.

    I guess you will have a to file a non buying payer alert ;)

    I would refund it, that should get his attention. He will probably retry.

    refund? No, that will be a mess... and then he need to pay again etc... no.

    It's a newbie so he will read my message and understand (I hope) :D

    Well if he reads it and places the order, all is good of course, but in case he doesn't respond that's what I'd do. You could also go and adjust your inventory and send it anyway, but that's kind of fee avoidance. I don't know if it's PayPal, but I refuse those every now and then when buyers make mistakes, and they tend to fix it pretty fast :)
    I must say I don't have the best experience with French members and communication.. :P

    Ofcourse if no reaction I refund but that's to quick now.
    No not Paypal but IBAN was used. :D
