Commission and VAT

Is it possible to get a VAT free invoice for commission? BrickOwl is EU based, right? Then technically the law dictates I get an invoice, and that it's a VAT-free intracommunitary transaction. Don't get me wrong, I'm already quite happy that the commission is reasonable, but I should be able to get my VAT returns on it as it is a business expense.

Brick owl is not VAT registered so we cannot do VAT free commission.
