Help with buying a wishlist

I am confused how the buy wishlist page works. After I select a wishlist but before I select a store, I see a list of stores with "Needed Lots" and "Allocated Lots" columns. I assume "Needed Lots" is the number of lego piece styles I need from my wish list that this store has. Let's say that number shows 70. If I check the box of that store, I would then assume that the "Needed Lots" number would stay the same for that store since just because I checked it doesn't mean the store suddenly has more pieces that I need. But the number changes to 98. Why did it go from 70 to 98? Also, I would assume that the "Allocated Lots" would become 70 after I check it since if it had 70 needed lots and I checked it, it would allocate all needed lots? But no, the "Allocated Lots" becomes 81? Huh?!? I don't understand how these numbers work. Generally, I would expect the "Needed Lots" numbers to never change unless I change wishlists. I would expect the "Allocated Lots" to change as I select different stores since it is trying to find the cheapest price for me. But if I am just checking 1 single store, shouldn't "Allocated Lots" be equal to "Needed Lots"?

I believe the numbers can act strangely when the store has duplicate lots of the same item
