Catalog gurus, here are some points!

Normally when I sync my BL/BO stores together everything works fine. but for whatever the reason, I am getting a bunch of miss-matches. I tried to fix a few of them but got rejected.
Nothing against Admin, I am just horrible with the catalog. I do not want to waste his time by submitting fixes that get rejected, so here is my list of issues:

If anyone wants the points there ya go. Remember enough points means NO FEES!
Just so admin doesn't deal with double/triple fixes on the same item, please post here that you are working on them.

  • Fixing BL_IDs doesn't give any point! :p I would know, I submitted a bunch of them.

The problem is that BL changed a bunch of ID extensions from 2 digits to 3 digits (...bp37 became ...bp037). We can submit the new BL_IDs one by one but it's a lot of clicking, and there's no API solution to submit BL_IDs in batches.
  • ohh. well there went that motivation. =((

Well, if anyone has any spare time they can do it :!!

  • These are submitted with the exception of 3298xx 33009xx and 47394xx. Should be available within 24 hours or so
  • Hey, Brian!
I thought you made it shorter, not longer!!!

  • opps. I meant Jason.

Its what I get for posting at 2:30 in the morning :P
  • Your list, with the same exceptions noted above has been submitted. Give Admin 24 hours to approve and you can resync.

If anyone else wants to paste their sync fail list to this thread, I'll take care of it for them.

Please note that stickered parts can never be synced because BL assigns these part codes, but Lego does not assign them element IDs. Also, some decorated parts that are more than +/- 10 years old also have unknown Lego element IDs and need to be manually researched.
  • Chris, I have been correcting my own as well so you're welcome! Apparently syncing for instructions for gear is not perfect either. It also appears that at the least, Larry the Barista's parts are not in the catalog. Perhaps that's true for all the TLM CMFs.
