If you create a user specific coupons does that user receive an email informing them of said coupon?
If that feature does not exist could it be implemented?

Yes, and there should be a message after you create the coupon informing you

Does the customer ever get a reminder? Or is there a 'my coupons' button?

There is no page that I have found that lists one's active coupons.

That really would be preferable to having to run a search through emails to find your coupons.

bumping a very old thread but I've run into the lost coupon situation. A seller issued a coupon to me a few weeks ago but I've deleted the email not realizing that was the only way to track the coupon. I'd like to order from them again but it seems I have no other way to track the coupon down?

@Lawrence if there was a 'My Coupon' tab in a users profile to keep track of the coupons that have been issued it would be nice!

This has now been implemented, you can see a link to your coupons by clicking on your username on the top right
