Change the order of payment methods

I see many new buyers choosing to pay by Interac E-transfer (a Canadian thing), which is a complex process requiring them to log into their bank's website.

It is also apparently the first option in the list of payment methods.

Can I change the order of payment methods to put Paypal on top? Since Interac was added second, I thought I could delete the Paypal method and add it back in order to move it to the first spot, except that I don't see any way to delete a payment method. Is there a solution to this?

I just checked, it looks like in the payment method section of checkout, there is no default, so the customer must actually be clicking on that payment method by choice, as opposed to be just being the default and then not changing it.

Right, I know there is no payment method being selected by default, but I'm talking about the listing order.

If someone doesn't know much about "Interac E-Transfer" or "Paypal", and just pick the first option, he's really going to have a lot of trouble actually paying for the order. Paypal is closer to a typical online shopping experience: enter the credit card number and you are done.

Hence why I really would like to put Paypal on top.

Stragus, I don't know if this will improve things a little but you can add a note to each payment method. This note shows before the customer completes checkout and before they've committed to a payment method. You can add a note to the Interac method to direct those without an Interac account to the PayPal method instead.
