Hello,
Let me have an example :
Customer 1 has an order of 5 euro and lives in the europe and items weight 20 grams.
Customer 2 has an order of 20 euro and lives also in the europe and the items weight 20 grams.
They both pay with IBAN.
Is it possible to say the shipping cost are 1.28 euro + 0.80 euro for handling fee if the order is less than 15 euro ?
in such way that :
- customer 1 sees 2.08 euro shipping costs
- customer 2 sees 1.28 euro shipping costs
So there is an weight and price band.
or is this against the filosofy of brickowl?
Thanks in advance,
kind regards,
Peter

You can have two (or more) divisions for the zone (two shipping methods to describe one style of shipment to one destination).
One the maximum total is 5 and the cost is 2.08.
The other has a min of 5 and 1.28
The destinations, weight and volume can be the same for both.
Hope that solves what you wanted to accomplish.
If I understand correctly,
It is neccessary to make 2 shipping method
A with a weight band
B with a price band
but if i do this on check out i get 2 options to click on.
So then i have to trust the buyer that he will select the right shipping method ?
or do i understand your explenation in a wrong way ?
Hey wait, I thought we were able to click, click copy shipping methods. Do they need to be reentered manually?

But this does me question : the purpose of this system is to avoid hidden fees, I totally understand the thought behind this !
but now you see on checkout only 2.08 euro but you now do not know what the handling fee is ?
or if there is any, so it makes it more hidden I think ?
Not to compare this site to Bl because it has other filosofy but there i state my handling shipping and Paypal fee very clear and communicate this to the buyer so he/she exactly know how and what.
email example:
is it an idea to make it possible in the store information to state whether there is an handling fee/Paypal fee or see this at checkout ?
but an idea no to critize BO, i love this site !
kind regards,
