I think it would be great to have more features oriented toward building a community here, rather than strictly a marketplace. I wonder if that isn't in the plans, or just very low priority.
And arggghhh, flickr.com is terrible on a tablet! Do they move the page's content around (with a delay!) whenever someone zooms in and out just to annoy people?
Hi Mark, Finally one of my designs is complete - A considerable amount of the bricks supplied by you. I'll be starting the brick list for the next modular as soon as I get a chance, and I hope your store will be my main supplier.
Great work @ryantaggart looking forward to seeing the next one!
Amazing @theHellmouth! I've seen some of your work on Pinterest before. I love the lighting. Where do you get the ideas from? Do you sketch them out first or just build away?
wow this is really nice stuff ! I agree with the topic starter, a place to build a non-marketplace communicity could be a good step to grow. In this way you keep things close to home, I think.
and it is really nice to see al to beautiful builds !
Hi to all, I've Created the 1966 TV Batmobile and submitted it to the Lego Ideas website. See Link: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/70489 I have sourced the vast majority of my bricks form Brickowl which has been invaluable, so a big thanks to all store owners I've used. Please feel free to support my proposal, it would be much appreciated. I'm currently gathering bricks for the Bat Boat to go with my proposal pictures to follow.
I've updated the Batmobile design with the trailer (click update tab in Lego Ideas Website), just waiting for more parts to come in the post to finish the boat. Thanks again to the many Brickowl merchants for supplying me with bricks. See link in above post for Batmobile in Lego Ideas.
I wonder if LEGO will determine that there's enough of a market related to the 1966 Batman TV serie, but that's what the Cuusoo process is all about. Well done!
And my latest round of orders, this time from all over the world, is for my current build. I will add some photos when its finished. For those that don't know, all of these are other people's designs, albeit with a few of my own mods
Yes Mark, the lowloader is also pneumatic. The current build also has rear wheel steering on the trailer which is going to be interesting. I've come to a halt on this build, waiting for items from the States. I will be looking for loads of green and orange technic for my next build, so get those stocks up mate.
There are some really nice photos of some excellent projects there folks, I am very impressed.
After a twenty year gap I have only recently started up again with Technic building and have been devouring the Technic shops on here for parts, of which Em's bits and bobs has been super helpful.
At some point though I am going to build a model of the one true love of my life (excluding the other half obviously!), my motorbike. However I am still a bit stuck on how I model a Sports V-Twin and make it look like the original bike?
Lovely pictures and great job well done! Nice to know some parts I sent to you was used for his great projects. I don't have a MOC but do plan to make a huge Cypriot house with 3 storeys, real doors, windows and shutters opening and another MOC is Nicosia International Airport terminal building in Cyprus.
Several vendors have asked me what the heck I was building with all those giant orders coming. Still in early stages but here is where we are (my 3 kids an I), in the process of making our ultimate lego city. The whole layout is made of 7 * 5 1/2 (32x32 base plates). As you can see lots of bricks involved...

Thats looking great. Looking forward to more pics!
hi all just looking for support for my LEGO Ideas submission of Luke hear is the link https://ideas.lego.com/projects/85985. take a look and vote if you like thanks Steve
Do you guys and girls ever make a prototype just to see if you can build something?
My first prototype Wall-E
The idea was that I wanted to make a machine that had a lot of motors and lights and fit them all into a small box, so I wandered over to Google images and started looking at pictures of the little guy.
There is a resemblance between my guy and the real guy, but the match is not great yet, so I have some work to do. However, I do know that I can do it now. Things to change are the wheels in the tracks, the neck and the arms. Some things will have to be different, but I am going to try to make him look a little better...
Well unless I get inspiration for another project.
Hi everyone, thanks again to everyone who has supplied bricks for my latest Lego Ideas proposal (https://ideas.lego.com/projects/87749) check it out to see more pictures.
We wanted to build the Christmas tree out of Lego this year, but it seems we still don't have enough green bricks. So we brought out the old Duplo again.
This would seriously bring lot of money if you have 4 of those on sale. Never understand why they valued so much in the thousands figures. My local car boot sale seller who have lot of Lego she must had a 7191 set as she dismantled without knowledge they are expensive set, I got 2 out of 4 33008 flower pot, a windscreen and light gray cylinder technic parts which all are expensive parts. I am planning to tell her if she ever get a 10179 set is do not pull out and inform me so I can see it myself, touch it and understand why they are so expensive. I guess is a lottery to find those sets...
Wow that amazing to buy 4 of them. I am more in to architecture buildings and sadly I missed out Eiffel Tower and Taj Manal set as I started using Lego in 2012 and got London Bridge and Sydney Opera house. I am really hoping that one day Lego to make Titanic ship set which would be lovely for display. Some AFOLs managed to make them and hosted at displays.

First up, we have the M1 Abrams Tank. I plan to rebuild this one in a more suitable colour scheme
I'm sure all the other stores you've brought from will be pleased to see these.
Are they all RC?

How long has this taken?
After a twenty year gap I have only recently started up again with Technic building and have been devouring the Technic shops on here for parts, of which Em's bits and bobs has been super helpful.
So time for a pic or two.

I have combined my two hobbies though and made some Lego Valve caps.

Cheers folks and thank you to all of the shops I have plundered over the last few months, you have all been fantastically helpful, especially Em's.
We have been building a Simpsons house to some layouts and images found on the inter-web, making it a bit bigger than the official version :
Only now do I realize how much ££ this is going to take to finish.... anyway, a few work in progress pics.
The whole layout is made of 7 * 5 1/2 (32x32 base plates).
As you can see lots of bricks involved...
Great adventure to share with the kids.

Might have to try this next year.
