Many sellers here do not like the fact that they cannot leave honest non-positive feedback for buyers. However, there *IS* a workaround you can do to warn other sellers about problem buyers. Although BO does not offer "neutral" or "negative" as a TYPE of feedback for one's buyers, BO does allow you to post honest comments about the buyer and his/her transaction with you.
Therefore, I suggest that if you have a problem buyer/transaction and want to leave honest non-positive feedback, go ahead and leave "positive" feedback in name only, but write an honest non-positive comment and PUT IT IN ALL CAPS SO THAT IT STANDS OUT. Thus, for example, if you encounter a buyer who becomes angry and rude because you refused their demand for customs fraud, you can leave them "positive" feedback with the comment: "BUYER BECAME ANGRY & RUDE WHEN WE REFUSED THEIR DEMAND FOR CUSTOMS FRAUD." Or, if the buyer filed a PayPal claim against you two days after you shipped their order, you can write: "SELLERS BEWARE: SHIP ORDERS ONLY WITH INS & TRACK. B FILED PP CLAIM 2 DAYS AFTER SHIPPING."
The point is that content is more important than what the feedback type is called. And content in ALL CAPS brings it more easily to the attention of other sellers.
