Update Language settings for page

Would it be possible to adjust the language settings for the page?
Now we found out that 2 more languages have been added...

If we set the page as "All" then all customers can see it in all languages, where we have everything clearly translated. The "footer" then shows the "All" pages + the pages assigned to the set language.

We are therefore forced to not use "All" because it is seen by all languages and makes the site unreadable.
For example, if we could define that the page only appears for selected languages like Japanese, Chinese and not for others, that would be great.
Instead of a drop-down menu with one option, it would be possible to select multiple languages (like countries in the shipping section) and put the page in e.g. English for less used languages that we don't want to translate.

There are already 15 languages and it is quite complicated to set everything up conveniently.

I’m not sure I follow. The intention was you would have one default page as “all” then maybe one or two language specific pages. You don’t need to create a language specific page for every language.

If you have a FR page. The FR customer sees the FR page. If you do not have an FR page. The FR customer sees the ALL page.
  • If we have “delivery-cz” and “delivery-all,” the customer sees both pages.
We have 2-3 pages for each language.
    Are we doing something wrong?

    Thanks
  • I will look into that further and get back to you

Okay, sorry for the bad advice before. The advice was only applicable to the homepage. I have now updated the system. You can create pages with the same URL as another, aslong as the language is different.

So you can now create "delivery" in ALL and "delivery" in CZ and it should work properly. Only the CZ customer sees the CZ version. Everyone else sees the ALL version. I have updated the packaging/delivery page URLs in your store, and the links to them from the home page.
  • No problem, thank you for fixing.

We found a minor error at the settings and we can not fix it by our own.
    We have URL path "packaging":
    Title in All: Packaging
    Title in English: Packaging
Title in Czech: Balení (But websites in Czech shows Packaging)

    Other pages are okay:
    Title in All: Delivery
    Title in English: Delivery
    Title in Czech: Doručení

Any idea what is wrong? Thanks
  • That's now fixed, thank you. By the way, in your packaging page, you have a dead link to an image that has likely been renamed on Brick Owl
  • Thanks, we will change all pages soon.
