Can you automatically adjust shipping weight

I am having an issue where by the weight and postage calculated by BO does not account for packaging. When i pack it up it takes it into another weight category and I have to pay more. On other platforms I can add this in, does such a feature exist or do i have to lower weight bands to achieve this?

You would need to adjust weight and shipping dimension limits to account for packaging. There is a note about this on the shipping method form.
