Despatch time/Overdue Issue in Christmas season

Christmas is coming and we have in our country national holiday from 24.12.2024 to 26.12.2024 (Tue-Thu).
How to deal with the "Overdue Issue" and "Average despatch time"?

We will ship all the orders before and after this national holiday. Czech customers are okay with that, but BO system does not work with these kind of national holidays.

It would be nice if the BO notification system "Overdue Issue" will be switched off for these days same as average dispatch time statistics.
Closing the store is not an option for us. Last time we receive 50+ orders in these 3 days.

  • I would recommend adjusting your dispatch time during that period. So currently you have 1-2 days, you can changed it to 2-5 days for example.

    The average dispatch time is just a statistic for yourself, so that is not important. Customers do not see this.

    I agree it would be good if we could take account of national holidays, but they do vary around the world. Possibly we can add an extra day to the warning at Christmas and New Year's, as that is pretty standard I think.
  • @Lawrence Might I suggest the option to add "days off" to the seller dashboard, so sellers can pick what days they know they won't work, and this could be reflected to customers as "we won't ship on X, Y, and Z days" when those dates are within a week?
