So, have you added a part to the wrong colour (for example added something to Brown when you meant to add it to Reddish Brown)? I don't think you can change it's colour once it's in your inventory. Simplest thing is to delete it then re-add under the correct colour.
I'm not sure I follow. It takes a few seconds to delete an item and relist it under the correct colour (or reduce a quantity if added incorrectly to an existing listing). If you think a different functionality is required/desired you can make a suggestion to admin and see if they'll implement it. I've just gotten used to doing it this way (and touch wood, I've learned to identify colours over the years to avoid problems when adding stock), but that's not to say there's another method that could be introduced.
It was not mis-identified colours but imported parts that have been transformed to an incorrect colour. There are 50 out of 5,000 parts so it is a bit of a pain to identify them both side to make sure they keep in sync. Been selling bricks for a while and cannot think why colour would be locked in. Thanks again for your help though, may just be me having this issue.
