Inventory item(s) history

just curious how much history will be stored (and/or for how long) - some parts in my inventory are getting quite long histories now - it is however very useful when tracing down errors.

I have been told it never gets deleted which i hope is true. Some do get pretty long but unless your always browsing in history mode its great.
