Hello from Cape Town!
As I am a collector-buyer, it would be very useful for me (from purely buyer's perspective) to publicize all the prepared and categorised by me wishlists on one page, i.e. a page listing links to all my wishlists. At the moment I cannot create a customised public page with such an index, however for sellers who want to sell me more sets such a list would be useful, too (I would just provide them with a public link to the page, instead with a dozen or so links to various public wishlists).
The page would be presented not only to sellers from BrickOwl, but also to some suppliers in South Africa or in Poland and to sellers from other LEGO marketplaces online. It is not bad at all, just the opposite - It will be beneficial for both me and BrickOwl.com, as more LEGO traders/shops would become aware of the BrickOwl.
I understand that websites like this one are created primarily for sellers (synchronizing/uploading inventories, various options for listings, comfort for customers etc.). For buyers, it's very easy to find an item here. Also, the website offers fantastic facilities for wishlists' creation (easy, quick), amalgamating order from various shops, choosing the right price and so on. Once a purchase is made, a way to a new relationship between seller and myself is open - and in this place I cannot show easily what I want
Just a suggestion... Otherwise I need to create such a page on another website (with links to wishlists on this website), which I do not really want...

That's quite a wish list!
Just FYI when seeking New/Sealed in a (highly) collectable set you will expect to pay a premium over New - which may end up a waste of money
Because customs/border control have the right to open and inspect anything regardless, no seller can gaurantee a set will arrive unopened when it crosses a border - I have lost sales when pointing this out - however I would rather the buyer realizes there is a risk of a set being opened.
From experience I purchased Carousel (New/Sealed) sent to UK from US it arrived opened and the box was mangled and torn - it was sent by my Sister in Law so I know for sure it was border control/post office that did it!
If you plan on building - (this is my way of thinking) - I prefer to buy good used or new without box - a couple years back I sold GreenGrocer New/Sealed and bought (used) GreenGrocer, Cafe Corner and Market Street for not much more… they are used anyway once built!
Best Graham
Is there a way to see more of the public wishlists now without needing links? I see the last few made, and the most popular ones that never seem to change, but can't find those from last month.
Just knowing you can send links is nice, I missed that obvious function.
If wishlists could be exchanged somehow easily on site, manipulated and exchanged again, it would be easier to give customers a list.
Example: Buyer purchases a cart full of parts and asks if I have A B C D E or F (or hundreds of parts to finish an MOC). I look and see that I have B D and F.
I have no way to reserve the parts, the buyer may not have an updated wishlist of what they asked for. If I can make a wishlist of what I have for them to give them for easy shopping, and quick needed with no reservation and rare parts, it would make the process easier.
I understand there can be concerns with being able to exchange information, to me some sort of system of passing lists back and forth would be beneficial. Saves the time of the manual processing of the information that is being done anyway if a seller helps find unlisted parts, and makes it a smoother process for the buyer being able to give them something painless to find the parts added for them.
@Graham: you are dead right: it's better to state "New - complete". However, I just wanted to choose "New" from the dropdown menu, but the system doesn't let me (It must be either "New - sealed", "New - complete" or "New - incomplete"). Funny enough, customs sometimes open the boxes, but ONLY when a courier company (like DHL) insists on playing a role of intermediary. In any other case, customs open the parcel, but not the actual LEGO box. At least that's how it works in South Africa. With DHL, I pay extra fees (so called "disimbursement fees") because I am labelled as "importer" by (in fact) the courier company. It is a little like calling me a pope because I attend church. It's worth to know to actually avoid courier services (I am referring to postage to SA) as they force their middleman role between the addressee and legal border forces. What is even worse, the those intermediary activities delay delivery, as they bombard the addressee (the buyer) with sms'es, emails and phone calls, demand ID number plus other particulars, then want me to pay due fees to THIER account (otherwise I'd pay comfortably at the post office on collection), insist on waiting until the money clears on their account, insist on delivering to the street address (I live alone and work in 5 different hospitals without stable schedule, so it's one more problem). It's a nightmare! Standard airmail reaches me quicker than, for example, DHL consignment.
And it is a WISHlist - not a NEEDlist I then can wish for whatever, that's why the list is long. I WISH I could buy all those items today, hey! The inventory of sets that we have is even more impressive. But, at the same time, when I want to buy something from a given seller, but the item is small, I refer to mu wishlists and try to find another set to buy from the same shop, as the shipping will cost me proportionally less. In this sense, the wishlists serve as excellent reference indexes.
@Lawrence: Thank you so much! You are a star! It saves me so much time and allows to keep one inventory of wanted items on one website!
@walstib: you are right. Sometimes the seller might have parts not listed, so the buyer can refer him (after the purchase is sealed, or just about to happen) to his/her wishlist. Some extra auto system that would alert the buyer (or seller) of additional parts from the wishlist that are available in the store would be fantastic, however programming of such facilities is a more complicated issue (know something about it).
Summarizing, I WISH that the "New" option in the dropdown menu worked (without any adjectives, like "sealed", "complete", "incomplete", "odourless" etc.
