New here with questions

Hi all,

I’m new here and already have a BL store for decades.
Coming from the Netherlands and trying to sell all my new parts as i go from builder to collector because of health issues.

I have a few questions:

-Can i upload my BL inventory here without listing all the parts again (65000+)

-On BL i always gave the shipping costs in the invoice manually so everyone gets the correct shipping.
I used the quote function for buyers who wanted to know upfront.

Is it possible to avoid the automatic shipping thing here?

Greetings Rob

  • Please see the help page here regarding inventory sync https://www.brickowl.com/help/inventory-synchronisation

We find that stores with shipping methods setup receive more orders and give a better customer experience, so we prefer that stores take the time to set up at least one shipping method. You can use the examples in shared shipping methods to get you started https://www.brickowl.com/mystore/settings/shipping_methods/shared
  • Rob, little advice from personal experience. Don't ship as letter-mail to the UK. Make sure to sent as Parcel. Since UK quit the EU lettermail is 1. Unexplainable slow by times, 2. More and more not arriving with buyers. That's not only frustrating for your buyers, but it will also going to cost you money as you are selling your bricks. Not quite the idea of trading I think. It's getting worse by the month. When you sent as a parcel there is at least a track and trace number that you can provide. Italy is also quite bad at the moment. Lettermail is being returned to sender after being emptied and other fun stuff like that. And when shipping to Eastern Europe (tjech republic and further) add the phone number, even on parcels with track and trace. I'm told by locals that track and trace ends in Austria. From there T&T apparently is not well relayed to other Postal Services.

    Have fun selling!
