New messages counter doesn't update?

Hi

Is it normal that the messages counter stays there and counting forever even if you have read all the messages?
It shows 4 at the moment and I have read all 4 messages.

Check to see if the senders of those messages have requested a response. You can either respond or click the "reply not necessary" link.
