Brick Sale Finder Suggestion

Could the "Part Out" value column take into account the Inventory/Listing settings for the store using this new page please (as in 1 year average, 6 months minimum etc)?

The values currently quoted in the last 4x columns on the new BSF page don't hold much value otherwise.

Appreciate this would mean BO recalculating and storing multiple Part out values per set (or calculating in real time if not too slow) but this would make this new feature really valuable!

  • That should now be working. It's calculated in real-time, so the page now loads in about four seconds
  • I'm afraid I'm not seeing any difference - to check I'm doing the correct thing:

    1. I'm going to Settings -> Inventory Settings
    2. Change "Default Price" drop down value -> Save Changes
    3. Refresh the BSF page
    4. Review the "Part Out Current" column to note any change

I can confirm if I use the "Part Out" function of a set, I see a part out total value change by making the above change.

I see there is a "Last Updated" time in the top right of the BSF page. Do I need to wait for the next update cycle or is this just since the last pricing crawl of the various sellers please?
  • It should change between part our current, 6 months/1year/2years depending on your inventory setting. It will always do average. I didn’t implement min/max.
  • Do you use the current_minimum? I didn't think people would actually use the min/max
  • That'll be the reason then, thanks. We do use the "current minimum" option to provide a quick / worst case part out value to inform a purchase decision. Any chance this could be added please?
  • Ah okay, I will leave the suggestion open and revisit this.
  • I believe that should now be working for all the different default inventory price types
  • Thanks, looks great - would I be correct in assuming the BSF part out value doesn't take into account any lots a store may already have? It uses only the default inventory prices for the type selected?
