parts in inventory not sorting correctly

I had an order recently where the sorting method thought a 2x16 was smaller than a 2x2 plate. It was only reading the first digit instead of the number as a whole. the "1" in "16" is smaller than "2" so it sorted it as if it was smaller than all my 2 x 3, 2 x 4, etc parts in the order.
