Request quote not appearing, although option is enabled

Hi! I'm currently setting up a store and I have 2 shipping methods: postcard delivery and request a quote. However, when the postcard delivery is applicable, it doesn't show the "Request a quote" option. I want "Request a quote" to show every time, how can I do this?

  • I could be wrong but I think 'Request a quote' only appears when all other shipping methods cannot be applied. For example I only see this if I create a cart in your store because the other method does not apply to me.

    If you have a domestic customer and their order includes something whose dimensions fall outside your main shipping bands, then they should see 'Request a quote' as an option.

    I have checked mine and it is set to include the UK, but it doesn't show if I create a cart in my store; only the standard shipping methods as these will be more than adequate.

    Of course, it may be possible to set it as an always available option but I'm not sure how.
  • If you look in advanced options you can disable "Only show if no other method available"
