Looking for the part # for the older Torso for minifig nfi.tow.gas.1993.01

The Torso Octan Logo Pattern issued in 1992 - 2004. The O is thinner on the outside. Then they Re-issued the Torso Octan Logo Pattern in 2002 - 2012 with the O is thicker on the outside. I can find a 1993 Minifig with the thinner "O" (nfi.tow.gas.1993.01) but when I go and look at the parts it only brings me to the newer torso. So is there a catalogue entry for the thinner "O", for the older Torso.
Help is most appreciated. Thank you!

  • Is it this one? It has reversed colours but the pic here isn't very helpful...

  • Also it is not inventoried as part of a Minifigures, so could be the alternate you're after. There is a pic on BL to compare yours against.
  • Thanks Jay, I have attached an image of the 3 versions. Yes, BL has a seperate part # for the Original colour and thinner O and the Re-issue as well. And also shows the Reverse colour one, but, no Fig to match. I suppose my concern is the older Figs, having the newer Torso, with the way BO has it listed in the parts breakdown. And also, if sellers are biulding sets, they should have the old torso on the fig for the 1990's. I suppose am getting abit anal here, and it seems I might be opening a can of worms as well. Trying to fix this on BO may be too much. So..I suppose I probably should list the Torso's seperately, noting in the Public notes which is which. Maybe down the road, BO will have time to try and fix this issue. 1. Seperate part # for the old and re-issue, 2. matching up to the correct sets, 3. image for the Reversal and finding that Fig that belongs with the Reversal, I can not find it.
  • Maybe a quick workaround would be to add a little information to the catalog entry. If you go to the main (so not color-specific) entry, click the Edit tab, then Other, then Edit description, you can add a note to explain the differences. Long term you could then add further catalog entries if this is preferable.
  • Ok, will give it a try. This old buzzard is not so computer illeriate, but going to give it my best shot. Thanks again, Jay, most appreciated! :)
