Anyone used a plan chest for storage?

Having worked in an office where we used to store plans in a plan chest, I was wondering if anyone has used one for Lego storage?

Not sure my office/Lego storage/dining room has the space for one of these though!!

Would be a great idea if you had... say a ton of the chests lying around but would think that would be way to expensive to buy just for lego storage. If you got a few though id for sure go for it.

I've seen people use these for collections of very rare or unique parts, to keep them out of the bulk storage areas.
