Will deleting inventory affect quotes?

If I delete my inventory and reload it, it will only affect open carts right? Any quotes should still be good as the external id will remain the same. Is this correct thinking?

    I don't know for sure, but I would expect that quotes will also be gone, when you delete and reload inventory the Brick Owl lot ID changes and the items in the quote would no longer be available. The external ID is just an optional piece of information that cannot be used to uniquely identify a lot on Brick Owl (since not all lots have this information).

    Quotes are carts, so deleting the lots will remove them from carts. External ids are not used for anything internally, the lot id is used and that is lost if you delete lots.
