Lifetime sales incorrect

The lifetime sales of our shop as shown on the store-dashboard is higher than our actual sales. Could it be that these include shipping costs? (That would be a mistake I'd say.)

What figure are you comparing the lifetime sales to, to determine that it is incorrect?

I would not have thought shipping would be included in "sales" either, I have been guessing it is some kind of institutional definition an accountant would use.

I just basically ignore that number and look in the figures box at the items line, unless I am doing the final accounting I could care less how much shipping has been charged over a period.

To avoid any confusion, I do not believe it includes shipping, unless I am informed otherwise.

It does but probably shouldn't. Or it needs to be labelled turnover rather than sales.

@Hoddie Could you point to something to show that it includes shipping?
